Privacy Policy

Dismusic ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Dismusic mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you:

Personal Data

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for various purposes:

3. Data Storage and Security

We use Cloudflare to store and process your data. Account and release data is stored in Cloudflare D1, and uploaded music and cover art is stored in Cloudflare R2. Uploads require a short-lived authorization ticket issued by our server. We use access controls and password hashing to protect your data against unauthorized access.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

These services have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information.

4.1 Artificial Intelligence

When you add a song, we may send your audio file to Cloudflare Workers AI to transcribe it and suggest metadata (title, artist, genre, language, release notes). This is only used to help you fill in the release form and is not used to train models. You are always shown what was suggested and can review or change it before submitting.

5. Data Retention

We will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. When you delete your account through the app, your account data, uploads, releases, and associated records are deleted immediately from Cloudflare D1 and Cloudflare R2 as part of the same deletion request. We will retain your data only to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our policies.

Residual data may remain only in the following limited circumstances: anonymous or aggregated analytics that cannot identify you; short-lived technical logs that age out of our logging systems automatically; and any records that a third-party platform (such as Cloudflare or our payment/subscription processors) keeps under its own policies, which we do not control.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

To delete your account and all associated data, go to https://pdevelop.net/legal/dismusic/delete-account or use the Delete account option in the Account tab of the app.

Sign-in tokens are stored in device-protected storage. Apple authorization credentials needed to revoke access are encrypted on our server. Deleting an account requires your password or fresh verification with your connected Apple account. Apple revocation is requested after deletion; if Apple is temporarily unavailable, an encrypted revocation job is retried and removed after completion.

AI app connectors

If you choose to connect your account to an AI app such as ChatGPT or Claude, the connector allows that app to request read-only access to your own release metadata, saved release status and catalog summaries. It does not purchase services, change records, launch campaigns, or distribute music.

You approve the requesting client and its access scope on the connection page. Your password is sent securely to our existing account service to verify your sign-in; the connector does not store it or send it to the AI app. The connector stores an encrypted account session token and authorization records in Cloudflare KV. Access tokens last up to one hour and the connection expires after seven days unless you sign in again. The underlying account session expires after at most 30 days. Short-lived consent cookies protect the sign-in process and expire after ten minutes.

The AI app receives only the data returned by the tools you use. Its own privacy policy and your account settings govern how it handles that data. The connector excludes legal names, billing identities, purchase receipts, audio files and artwork files. It does not send your entire chat history to our account service.

You can disconnect through the AI app and contact our support to revoke a connection. Deleting your product account prevents the connector from reading its records immediately; expiring connector authorization records are removed automatically. Dynamic client registrations can remain for up to 90 days after their last renewal. Technical hosting logs are handled according to Cloudflare's policies.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.

10. Analytics and Cookies

We may use analytics services to monitor and analyze the use of our Service. These services may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity and hold certain information.
