1. Summary in one sentence

Mezcla does not collect personal data — no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking — and the only thing it ever sends is a short musical request to our composing service, and only when you ask Remi for a new track.

2. What data is not collected

• No accounts or sign-in.
• No analytics, no usage reporting and no tracking of any kind.
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
• No access to the microphone, the camera, your location, your contacts or your photo library.
• No uploads of your audio, your mixes or your file names.

The app reads only the specific audio files you pick yourself through the system file picker. It uses internet access only for "Remi composes". On Android it also declares the audio-settings permission, which only lets it manage sound output.

3. What the app saves, and where

Everything the app stores is written to your device's own storage and never leaves it:

• Audio you import. Files you choose are copied into the app's private folder so they can be played and analysed.
• The loop that comes with the app, copied into the same folder the first time you open it.
• Your saved mixes. A mix is a list of your control movements with timestamps — not recorded audio.
• Tracks Remi composed for you, so they keep working offline.
• Your progress in the lessons and the guided tour of the booth.
• Your language choice (English or Spanish).
• A note of whether the app has already asked you for a rating, so that it does not ask twice.

4. Network connections

The app does not phone home, check for messages or report usage. It makes exactly one kind of network request, and only when you ask for it:

Remi composes (optional). When you ask Remi for a new practice track, the app sends four musical values to our composing service: the genre, the tempo (BPM), the energy level from 1 to 5 and, if a track is loaded on the other deck, its musical key. Nothing else is sent: no audio, no mixes, no file names, no device identifiers. The service runs on Cloudflare Workers and writes the track with Cloudflare Workers AI. We do not keep your request or the track it returns in any database; the track is saved only on your phone. As with any internet connection, Cloudflare sees your IP address: the service uses it to limit how many tracks can be requested in a row, and Cloudflare keeps standard technical logs of each request (including the IP address) for a few days so we can find errors. We do not use them to identify anyone or for anything else. If you never use this feature, the app never connects to it.

Apart from "Remi composes", the internet only comes in when you tap Upload to naeku.io or Publish on naeku.io, which open naeku.io in your device's browser: that connection is made by the browser, not by the app, and the app sends nothing there on your behalf. The app may also ask the system to show the store's rating dialog; that dialog is shown and managed by the store, and the app is not told whether you rated it.

5. Third parties

Cloudflare runs our composing service (Cloudflare Workers and Workers AI) and receives the request described in section 4, with your IP address, when you use "Remi composes". No other third party receives anything from the app: it contains no advertising networks, analytics SDKs or social integrations.

naeku.io is run by the same team as this app. If you open it you have left the app, and that website's own terms and privacy policy apply. Apple and Google collect their own data when you download or update any app, under their own privacy policies; we do not receive it.

6. Children

The app collects nothing from anyone, including children. It contains no advertising, no purchases and no user-to-user communication.

7. Your rights

Regulations such as the GDPR in the European Union and the CCPA/CPRA in California give you rights to access, correct or delete the personal data held about you. Everything the app saves is on your device, where you control it. The only data outside your device is Cloudflare's short-lived technical log of a "Remi composes" request, which we do not use to identify anyone. 8. Retention and deletion of data

Your data stays on your device until you delete it; deleting the app removes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else, and no way for us to recover it. Cloudflare's technical logs of "Remi composes" requests are kept for a few days.

9. Security

Your data is kept in the private storage that the operating system gives each app, isolated from other apps. The "Remi composes" request travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

10. Other notices

Mezcla has no purchases.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
